She was predeceased by: her husband James Alfred "Jimmie" Helms; and her daughter Kelly Newsom of Midland. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Adams of Big Spring and Mike Helms of Midland. She is also survived by four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
