She is survived by: her husband Fidencio Alva of Big Spring; her children, Johnny Cantu of Big Spring, Melinda Cantu of Big Spring, Joseph Cantu (Liana) of San Antonio, Melissa Cantu (Steven Franco) of Big Spring, Marie Cantu of Big Spring, Jose Cantu (Cecilia Franco) of Big Spring, Fidencio Cantu of Big Spring and Jimmy Cantu of Big Spring; and her siblings, Mary Carrizales (Tacho), Ester, Etella Spain Ruth Lea, Eugenia Cantu, Edward Cantu, Joe Cantu, Eva Limas, Hellen Mora, Regina Mora, Rosie Quintana, Israel Mora and Sylvia Gonzalez. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
