He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie E. Brown and Ruth Carlisle Brown; his wife Mary Diane Brown; his son Bobby Brown; and his sister Loyce DeVonne Dannehl.

He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Burk (Tim), Kimberly Brown and Michelle Selesnick (James). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
