He was predeceased by: his parents, David Pharr and Mattie Hill Pharr; his wife Mary Pharr; his son James Thomas Pharr; and his stepson Leslie Shawn Crone.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Pharr (Becky) and Louan Warton; and his sisters, Aline McCary and Maxine Castle. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
