He is survived by: his children, James Alan Henkle of Big Sandy and Mallary Kay; his son-in-law Clint Johnson of Big Sandy; his grandchildren, Carson James Henkle, Casie Jayde Henkle and Aria Kay Johnson; his brother Donald James Henkle; the mother of his children Melinda Akins; his mother-in-law Betty Cook; and his brother-in-law Mac Cook. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
