He is survived by: his father Julian Abundiz; his wife Ofelia Abundiz; his mother Amparó Martinez; his daughters, Elda Grogan (Royce), Mayra Abundiz and Darlene Abundiz; his siblings, Amelia, Irma, Lilia, Josefina, Olimpia Abundiz, Dora Serrato, Ramiro of Julian, II and Rodrigo Abundiz; and his grandchildren, Ailani, Jose Uriel and Ansley Ponce.
