She was predeceased by: her father Wesley Dempsey. She is survived by: her mother Nell Dempsey; her husband Rusty Owens; her children, Corey Owens (Shauna) of San Angelo and Darci Owens of San Antonio; her grandchildren, Carson and Avery Owens; and her siblings, Steve Dempsey of Ranger, Jeri Ponder (JT) of Richland Hills and Mark Dempsey (Trissie) of Breckenridge. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Gabriel's Hospice or the Barnhart Cowboy Church.
