He was predeceased by: his parents, Victoria M. Soto and Alfredo Soto, Sr.; and his siblings, Virginia, Fidel, Alfredo, Jr. and Abel.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Martinez of Big Lake; his children, Veronica Talamantez (Albert) of Ozona and Edward Soto, Jr. (Trisha) of Big Lake; his siblings, Lupe Soto (Rosa) of Amarillo, Gilbert Soto (Patty) of Elk City, Oklahoma, Elida Harell of Lubbock and Esperanza Soto of Lubbock; his grandchildren, Eric Talamantez (Alex) of Ozona, Jacob Talamantez of Ozona, Zachary Talamantez of Ozona, Vanessa Braly (Jamie) of San Angelo, Seth Soto of Big Lake and Blayk Mitchell of Ozona; and his great grandchild Ariella Braly of San Angelo.
