Yanez, Sr. of Big Lake; her children, José Guadalupe Yanez, Jr. (Darby) of Big Lake, Miriam Alvarado (Santos) of San Angelo and Gladys Yanez of Big Lake; her siblings, Hervey Zapata (Carmen) of Del Rio and Alma Zapata (Coahuila) of Santa Maria; her grandchildren, Delaney "Nene" Yanez, Daniel "Bebe" Yanez, Devin "Devensito" Yanez, Josiah "Siahita" Perez and Joseph "Jojo" Garcia, Jr.; and her pet Daisy.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel (402 Rio Concho Dr, San Angelo, TX 76903). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 576 Colorado Ave, Big Lake, TX 76932.
