She is survived by: her grandchild Sara; her husband David Carey of Bertram; her children, Joanna Mercado of Belton, Robert Carey (Lacy) of Horseshoe Bay, Reuben Carey (Mary Ann) of Killeen, Rene Carey (Jodi) of Round Rock, Mary Chitwood (Al) of Bertram and Josey Pearson (Josh) of Jarrell; and her siblings, Janie Saucedo, Maria Zamirippa, Felipe Pedraza and Gene Pedroza. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
