She was predeceased by: her parents, Dolores Hope Simpson and Calvin Wesley Simpson Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Rusty Burkett; her daughter Baillie; her son-in-law Nathaniel Tapley of Lampasas; her son Hunter Hallmark of Florence; and her grandsons, Jonah and Baxton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gabriels Funeral Chapel (393 N Interstate Hwy 35, Georgetown, TX 78628). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Florence City Cemetery (507B Story Ave, Florence, TX 76527).
