He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Levy Leatherman Sr. of Pineville, Louisiana. and Gertrude Flossie Leatherman of Pineville, Louisiana.. He is survived by: his former wife Charlotte Wheeler of Alexandria; his friend James Davison; his brothers, Dr. Edward H. Leatherman of Shreveport and Malcolm L. Leatherman of Pineville, Louisiana; his wife Mary Gail Leatherman; his children, Dr. Martha Leatherman of Helotes and Mark Leatherman of Nacogdoches; the mother of his children Charlotte Wheeler Leatherman; his grandchildren, Jameson Moore, Jonathon Moore, Rachel Moore, Ashley Leatherman and Hunter Leatherman; his stepchildren, Kirk Swift and Shelly Swift Roeder; and his stepgrandchildren, Jackson Swift, Mia Swift, Levon Roeder and Iva Mae Roeder.
