We bid farewell to John Wendell Mandigo of Bertram, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 6, 2025 at the age of 84. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cortland Mandigo and Bernice Mandigo; his wife Rosalee Mandigo; his children, Michael Martin, Marion Martin Jr., Larry Martin, Patrick Mandigo (Rick) and Noone; his grandson Bobby Lilly (Dylan Martin); and his siblings, Leon Mandigo, Nancy Oster and Susan Muncy.
He is survived by: his daughter Theresa Martin of Willis; his grandchildren, Brandon Lilly (Jessica) of Willis, Patrick Lilly (Nicole) of Cleveland, Matt Martin of Port O'Connor, Terry Martin (Sherry) of Lake Buchannan and Charlotte Landry of Belton; his great grandchildren, Morgan Lilly, Robert, Nancy Lilly, Karalena, Sierra, Blake, Cutter, Kayla Martin, Zack Martin, Jacob Rogers, Jordyn Landry, Kylee, Caitlyn Martin and Chloe Lilly; and his sister Gail Newcomb of Colorado. He is also survived by 12 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and close friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Bertram (325 S Gabriel St, Bertram, TX 78605). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
