He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen Ruth Hickman (Eaton); his parents, Dan Stephens and Rozzie Stephens; and his siblings, Viola Caffey, Dorothy Tucker, Homer, Albert, Elbert (Buddy) and Wilford Stephens.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Welty (Dave), Janet Stephens McCurry, Dalton (Vicki), Jack, Joe and Marty (Marvin). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
