He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Truchard and Lily Truchard (Schneider); his sisters-in-law, Lenora Truchard, Ethel Truchard and Lee Truchard; and his nephew Patrick Truchard.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gaertner Truchard; his children, Jackie Kovar (Mike), Jacob Truchard (Alicia), Tommy Truchard, Brian Blumhorst, Bobby Truchard (Leah), Philip Truchard and Jessica Bergfeld (George Bergfeld II); his grandchildren, Kayelynn Truchard, John Michael Truchard, Adelaide Truchard, William Truchard, Andrew Truchard, George Bergfeld III and Nicole Bergfeld; and his siblings, Tony Truchard (Joann), Joe Truchard (Sally), James Truchard (Marci), Denis Truchard (Nancy), Anne Linville (Jim) and Sister Mildred Truchard.
