He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie C. Roensch and Alma Roensch (Michalk); and his siblings, Ernest Roensch, Edna Wenske and Amelda Peikert.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Roensch; his son Troy Roensch (Sandi); his grandchildren, Jackson Roensch and Kaldon Roensch; his sister Florence Jurajda (Bill) of Columbus; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Roensch of Victoria, Carolyn Foster (Lester) of Columbus, Marilyn Nelson of Columbus, Iris Sue Strauss of New Ulm, Lee Roy Wenske of Columbus, Earnest Peikert of Columbus, Gerion Nelson (Pauline) of Bernardo, Kenneth Nelson (Bonnie) of Bernardo and Murray Nelson of Bernardo.
