He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hauerland; his children, Tammy Valdez (Juan) of Pattison and Scott Hauerland (Lisa) of Sealy; his sister Beatrice Wormeli of Brenham; his sister-in-law Paulette Hauerland of Crosby; his brother Leroy Hauerland (Sylvia) of Sealy; and his grandchildren, Cody Barrett and Cory Barrett.
