He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bass McPherson and Annie Eliza Wilson McPherson; his siblings, Bill McPherson and Anita Duncan; and his sons-in-law, John Schroeter and John Hester.
He is survived by: his wife Ava McPherson; his daughters, Melinda Hester and Patsy McPherson; his nephew Jim Duncan (Connie); his grandchildren, Joel, Jason, Katy, Jordan (Megan) and Jackson; and his great grandchildren, Delaney, Addyson, Fritz, Vada, Sutton and Cohen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
