She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Gowdy and Billie Sue Gowdy; and her grandparents, William P., Lucinda Dallas, Max and Maud Gowdy.
She is survived by: her daughter Brooke Irby; her granddaughters, Sarah Gonzales of Krum, Texas and Shelby Cannady of Krum, Texas; her sisters, Lori Kidd of Pampa and Polly Dougless of Hobbs; her niece Jennifer Kidd; her nephews, Kevin Kidd, Josh Dougless and Dylan Dougless; and her uncle Franklin Dallas. She is also survived by 4 great-nephews, 2 great-nieces and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers a memorial may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Alzheimer's Association or Alcoholics Anonymous.
