She was predeceased by: her husband Cassmere Frank Samrow (Sam); her parents, Thomas D. Armstrong and Ruth Dazet Armstrong; her sister Joan; and her brothers-in-law, Albert Moliere and Gustave Adolph (Gus).
She is survived by: her sister Jeanne Adolph; and her children, Dannette Martin (Jeff Martin), Donald Samrow (Jo Samrow) and Dean Samrow (Robin Samrow). She is also survived by many grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
Jay started showing signs of Alzheimer's in the late part of 2010s and Sam took wonderful care of her until his passing in March of 2020.
