He is survived by: his wife Melba of Benbrook; his children, Cindy Buchanan (Sheila) of Granbury and Paul Buchanan (Patty) of The Woodland, Texas; and his grandchildren, Kara Buchanan (Stephanie) of Portland Oregon, Katy Buchanan of Fredericksburg, Grant Buchanan (Jennifer) of Houston, Scott Buchanan of Houston, Mathew Buchanan of Midland and William Bigelow of Houston, Texas..
