She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton S. Leach and Eunice Marie Barrett Leach; her husband Norvel Wayne Welch; her son Donald Wayne Welch; and her brother Milton Leach Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Deb Welch of Benbrook, Texas, Libby Parker (James) of Fort Worth, Texas and Larry Welch (Graça) of Niteroi, Brazil; her daughter-in-law Janet Welch; her grandchildren, Luke Welch (Krista), David Welch (Tricia), Danny Welch (Alexa), Robert Welch (Paola) and Liz Baker (Erick); and her siblings, Dorothy Salser and Chuck Leach. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
