He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Brown and Artelle Brown; and his sister Glenna Brown Hubbard Whitley. He is survived by: his brother James Daniel; his wife Joyce Hawkins Brown; his children, Vincent Brown (Linda) and Danna Webber (Cliff); his grandchildren, Randall Brown (Amanda), Christopher Brown, Danielle Webber Rittgers (Nick) and Jonathan Webber; his great grandchildren, Brock, Parker and Hudson Brown; and his nieces, Paige Hubbard Wiselogel and Shannon Hubbard Lemons. He is also survived by in-laws: four sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and more than 30 nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to designate gifts to the church.
