He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Oscar Pierson and Beatrice "Bea" Marie Pierson; his siblings, Larry (Marilyn) and Shirley; his sister-in-law Paulette; and his grandson Ricky.

He is survived by: his wife Kay Pierson; his brothers, Glen Pierson (Dorothy) and Rick Pierson; his sons, Eddie, Richard, Dennis and Kenny Pierson (Karon); his grandchildren, Chaz Pierson (Morgan), Matt Pierson (Sandra Vaquera), Allison Pearson (Justin Phillips) and Christy Burman (Dalton); his great grandchildren, Dillon, Lauren, Wyatt, Skye, Lea, Gale and Linda Ibach; and also, Denny and Sharon Ibach. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
