He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Walter Hodges and Ruby Maurine Blevins Hodges; his wife Bettye; his son James Lee Hodges; his siblings, Charles, Jerrell, Harold and Nelda; his sisters-in-law, Jonell, Nancy and Kathy; and his niece Kathy.
He is survived by: his son Calvin Hodges (Pamalee); his grandchildren, Christi Hodges and Kyle Jackson; his sister Linda "SueSue" Williams; and his brothers-in-law, Keith Williams, Dean Williams and Oscar.
