It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Spears of Benbrook, Texas, born in Alto, Texas, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Viron Grogan and Eula Grogan; her sister Mary Fern; and her husband J. B. Spears. She is survived by: her children, Jay Spears and Melinda Rogers; her son-in-law Truitt; her grandchildren, Clarke Rogers (Jennifer), Emily Blair (Christopher), Kevin Spears and Valerie Spears; and her great grandchildren, Huston, Arden Rogers, Austin and Adrian Blair. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Barbara was know for her loving, friendly, demeanor and her incredibly optimistic attitude even while suffering through the years of Alzheimer's disease.
