He is survived by: his wife Nelda Brown of Benavides, Texas; his mother Theresa Waite Brown; his children, Jesse Cervantez of Kingsville, Texas, J. J. Cervantez of Corpus Christi, Texas, Robert Cervantez of Corpus Christi, Texas, Eddie Cervantez of San Antonio, Texas and Cynthia Cervantez of Benavides, Texas; and his brothers, Russell Brown and Roland Brown. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
