She was predeceased by: her parents, Leopoldo Chapa, Sr. and Anita S. Chapa; her husband Alfredo S. Hernandez, Jr.; and her brother Leopoldo Chapa, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Jose Alfredo Hernandez, Orlando Rene Hernandez, Celia "Sally" Ramirez (Romeo), Carlos Manuel Hernandez, Eduardo Gerardo Hernandez (Yesenia G.) and Gloria Anna Gonzalez (Oscar); and her sister Elena Garcia (Eduardo). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
