He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijio Uresti and Maria Munoz Uresti; his wife Olga Carrillo Uresti; his parents-in-law, Simeon and Antonia Carrillo; his siblings, Elijio Uresti Jr., Jose Luis Uresti and Evangelina Uresti; and his sisters-in-law, Annie Carrillo Smith and Maria Teresa "Tere" Carrillo.
He is survived by: his children, Aaron Rene Uresti (Amanda), Belinda Marie Garza (Nestor III), Patricia Annette Pérez (Andres) and Gilbert Mario Uresti; his sister-in-law Irma H. Uresti; his grandchildren, Kimberly Michelle Garza Cortez, Aaron Uresti Jr. (Alyssa), Mark Anthony Uresti (Marlenne), Nestor Garza IV (Katie), Krystal Leah Perez (Roland), Tiffany Nicole Uresti, Andres Pérez Jr., Vanessa Annette Pérez, Derek Ryan Garza, Matthew Brian Uresti and Trevor Power; and his great grandchildren, Lindsay Allison Garza, Nestor "Cinco" Garza V, Brooklyn Kate Garza, Khloe Marie Cortez, Brandon James Cortez, Isabella Rose Perez, Londyn York Perez, Emerson Gray Garza, Analeigh Ruth Uresti, Elena Lizette Uresti, Delilah Alyse Uresti, Malaki Breland, Sophia Illiana Uresti and Aayden Paul Uresti. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Garza Funeral Home (4571 S Farm to Market 1329, San Diego, TX 78384). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rosary Garza Funeral Home (4571 S Farm to Market 1329, San Diego, TX 78384). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church (203 Santa Rosa De Lima St, Benavides, TX 78341). A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at the Benavides Cemetery (613 Depot St, Benavides, TX 78341).
