It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emerico R. Perez Sr. of Benavides, Texas, who passed away on June 7, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roque Perez and Maria Perez (Ruiz). He is survived by: his children, Emerico Perez, Jr. (Mary) of Alice, Texas, Orlando Perez (Linda) of Benavides, Texas, Rolando Perez (Melba) of Benavides, Texas, Jose Roque Perez of Benavides, Texas and Mary Belle Rios (Hector) of Benavides, Texas; and his grandchildren, Emerico Perez III (Mandy), Mark Anthony Perez, Lora Perez, Orlando Perez, Jr. (Marissa), Joshua Perez, Debbie Marie Rios-Cohen (Zachary), Hector A. Rios (Raquel), Trisha Villarreal (Jessie) and Dr. Rolando Perez, Jr. (Krystal). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
