With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan (Hefner) Lees of Ben Wheeler, Texas, who passed away on May 3, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Susan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Susan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Gordon Lees. She is survived by: her children, Mike Lees (Gretchen) of Wright City and Jennifer Lees of Tyler; her siblings, Joe Hefner of Houston and Dannie Hefner of Killeen; and her grandchildren, Donavan Sanders, Khloe Jester, Cullen Lees and Daisy Lees.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
