He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dudley Betterton and Rena Abbott Betterton; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Demoss and Damon Demoss. He is survived by: his wife Sheilia Betterton of Ben Wheeler; his daughters, Dedra Crouch of Ben Wheeler, Dina (Carlos Thompson) and DeAnna (Ricky Dougan); his sisters, Catherin Demoss and Ann Demoss; his grandchildren, Gregory Crouch, Mitchell Easley, Amanda Hornsby, Ashley Burns, Cody Dougan and Dustin Dougan; and his great grandchildren, Shiann Krause, Keeleigh Crouch, Averi Crouch, Landon Plata, Grayson Hornsby, Madilynn Hornsby, Carson Burns and Paisley Burns.
