It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Don Mewbourn of Ben Wheeler, Texas, born in Wills Point, Texas, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter F. Mewbourn and Mary Elizabeth Bates Mewbourn; his son John Mewbourn; and his siblings, Louie Mewbourn, David Mewbourn and Janice Golightly.

He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Hughes and Rebecca Yowell; his sisters, Frances Graham and Joan Cook; and his grandchildren, Tye Hughes, Courtney McAdoo, Taylor Deck, Brandi Yowell and Lexi Spencer. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Everyone in attendance will be asked to social distance at the cemetery.
