He was predeceased by: his father Wallace L. Amundson. He is survived by: his mother Rebecca C. Kegley; his wife Charlene; and his children, Josh (Nicole) and Aimee. He is also survived by his four grandchildren.

The Amundson Family wishes for memorial contributions to be made to Free Burma Rangers or Freedom Shield Foundation.
