With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice Mantooth Jett of Ben Wheeler, Texas, born in Edom, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 19, 2024 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her husband Thurman Jett; her parents, Dellmiree Harper Ward and Joseph Landon Mantooth; her stepfather Thomas C. Ward; and her granddaughter Tara Jett.
She is survived by: her children, Thurman Jett Jr. (Tammy), William Landon Jett (Nancy) and D. D. Hutson (Rob); her grandchildren, Mandy Richardson (Justin), Taylor Jett (Travis), Landon Jett (Brianna), Kimberly Goode (Dalton) and Desiree Hutson; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Carly Richardson and Eleanor Goode.
