He is survived by: his mother Thelma Lee Smith Fisher of Salado; his former wife Kathryn Sue Tubbs; his sister Kathy Cox (Gary Cox) of Austin; his children, Tammy Mercer (Paul Mercer) of Temple, Weldon Hale Jr. (Theresa Hale) of Cameron, Nathan Hale (Lynsie Hale) of Moody, Markus Hale (Robin Hale) of Cameron and Courtney Armold (Timothy Armold) of Belton; his pet Chiquita; his grandchildren, Shawn Hale, Chelsy Tobin, Dayton McCoy, Zackary Hale, Chance Hale, Haylie Armold, Autumn Hale, Katelynn Hale, Mason Armold, Addison Hale, Landon Hale, Kannon Armold and Gwenivere Hale; and his great grandchildren, Natalie Hale and Everleigh Hale.
