She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus E. Luckey and Wilma O. Luckey (Dickey); and her brother Ed Luckey. She is survived by: her spouse Jack Knowles; her daughters, Yvonne Whitmire of Belton and Dawn Newman (Kevin) of Harker Heights; her siblings, James E. Luckey (Gene) of Sharp, John L. Luckey (Leon) of College Station, Dottie Hightower of Bryan and Cindy Mushinski of Bryan; her grandchildren, Karla Whitmire Neidhart (Dorsey III), Crystal and Meghan N. Newman; and her great grandchildren, Jack Neidhart and Jackson Dorsey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be made to Baylor Scott and White Hospice.
