With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vada Francis Sutton of Belton, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Vada Francis' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Vada Francis has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nallie Sutton and Cora Mae Sutton of Belton; and also Edna Arlee Sutton Lackey of Pendleton, Texas.. She is survived by: her sister Zelda Sutton Allen; her niece Amanda Allen of Belton, Texas; and her nephews, Beauford Lackey Jr. and Lee Lackey Sr. of Pendleton, Texas. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews; great great nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Homes - Belton (503 N Main St, Belton, TX 76513). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Belton Church of Christ (3003 N Main St, Belton, TX 76513). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
