He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory A. Hunt and Dorothy Hunt (Miller); and his son James Edward Welch. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hunt; his children, Ronald Hunt and Cleda White (Donnie); his siblings, Dwayne, Rory, Steven, Darryl Hunt and Deborah Edwards; his grandchildren, Ethan Hunt, Brittany Abney and Joshua White; and his great grandchild Katelyn Abney.
