With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Evelyn Buchanan of Belton, Texas, who passed away on January 20, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Manninen and Anna Manninen (Salo); and her siblings, Moses Manninen, David Manninen, Richard Manninen, Walter Manninen, Robert Manninen, Mariam Menzel, Elenor Michon and Helen Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband Earl Buchanan; and her children, Earl Buchanan Jr., Scott Buchanan, Annmarie Travis, Barbara Schultz (Jim), Karen Garcia (Rick), LouAnn Christie and Kelly Hubik (George). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association (ALZ.org).
