It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sonya Michele Garcia of Belton, Texas, born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Randall H. Clark and Diana Carby (Skewis); her husband Daniel Garcia; her stepparents, Gail Clark of Tennessee and Larry Carby of Alabama; her children, Michael Randall Garcia of Belton, Brittany Garcia (Mitchell McMahon) of Georgia and Shelby Newman (Aaron Ashby) of Utah; and her siblings, Kenneth Clark (Monica) of Kentucky, Randall Clark (Zara Greene) of Alabama, Chris Carby (Leasi) of Alabama, Ernie Collins (Mandy) of Tennessee and Paula Fendley of Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Association at nationalmssociety.org.
