He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Carpenter Post and Alta Ruth McKinney Post; his wife Elaine Kay Bryan Post; his children, Stephanie Post O'Banion (Guy) of Belton and Sidney W. Post Jr.; his grandson John Sidney Post; his sister Frances Brazeal (Everett) of Tyler; and his caregivers, Logan, Tina and Katy. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts be made to the Sidney W. Post Physical Education Scholarship at the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor.
