He is survived by: his wife Janis Simonds of Belton; his children, Rodney Simonds Jr. (Shannon) of Belton and Debra Spence (Jay) of Belton; his brother Michael Largay (Janie) of Key West, Florida; his grandchildren, Brandy Stanford (David), Samantha Shiplett (Dustin), Haley Moore, Preston Moore (Jordan) and Nicholas Simonds; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Emily, Skylar, Bentley, Harley and Preslynn.
