With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Kay Mayfield of Belton, Texas, born in Temple, Texas, who passed away on October 24, 2022 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clennon Watts and Doris Watts (Hill); her daughter Sheila; and her brother Guy. She is survived by: her children, James Mayfield, Linda Mayfield of Belton, Thomas "Tommy" Mayfield of Belton and Coleman Federle of Belton; and her siblings, Shirley Drake of Houston, Louise Pratt of Troy, Sherry Preston of Salado, Eddie Watts of Belton, Richard Watts of Moffat and Trisha Watts of Belton. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
