He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul William Cottrell and Laberta June Cottrell (Turner); his wife Bette Cottrell; his sons, Jeffrey Cottrell (Sabina) of Belton and Gregory Cottrell of Ft. Worth; his brother James Cottrell (Terry) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Matthew Cottrell, Joshua Cottrell, Riley Cottrell, Avery Cottrell, Amanda Gibson and Shelly Austin; and his great grandchildren, Stella Austin and Luke Gibson.
