He is survived by: his wife Pamela Turnpaugh of Belton; his children, Richard Lee Turnpaugh Jr. of Belton, Robert Kent Turnpaugh of Pendleton, Randy Allen Turnpaugh of White Hall, Christopher Martin Sanders of Belton, Gerald Wayne Sanders of Belton and Kandy Diane Wolf of Temple; and his siblings, Weldon Turnpaugh of Indiana, Ronnie Turnpaugh of Indiana, Maurice Turnpaugh of Indiana, Tom Turnpaugh of Indiana, Mary Kay Deauteachu and Carla Cambell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
