He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Fredrich Winkler and Anna Christine Winkler (Beissert); his wife Frances Eileen Winkler; and his sons, David Winkler (Marsha), Chris Winkler (Miriam) and Kyle Winkler. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
