She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Donald Edward McKinney; her parents, Luther Lee Hayes and Mildred Marie Sydow Hayes; her daughter Laura "Janine" Singleton; her siblings, Curtis "Buck" Hayes and Glyn Bell; her grandson Jacob McKinney; her children, Michael (Jaime McKinney) of Georgetown, Dawn (Todd Gallahar) of Katy and Donna Lee Blagg of Belton; and her sisters, Wonnie Bell Morgan of Alvin, Minnie Cox of Temple, Dessie Lee and Harrell of Temple. She was also cherished by her six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
