We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2023, at the age of 92, Nellie Burks Peschel of Belton, Texas, born in Salado, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Burks and Minnie Burks; and her siblings, Maudie Alice Landers, Clara Rachel Burks and Richard Burks.
She is survived by: her spouse Linard Peschel (Buddy); her children, Linnell Taylor (Bill) of Houston, Beverly Fleming (Jerry) of Belton, Lisa Thomas (Kelly) of Temple and David Peschel of Temple; and her grandchildren, Ryan Taylor, Lindsey Blair, Michael Zernial, Trent Wagnon, Jenna Nance, Justin Peschel, Jacob Peschel and Josh Peschel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
