She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Hayes and Mildred Hayes (Sydow); her spouse Glen E. Cox; and her siblings, Curtis "Buck" Hayes, Glyn Bell and Norma McKinney.
She is survived by: her children, Glen W. Cox of Belton, Robert "Bob" Cox of Galveston and Carrie True of Belton; and her sisters, Wonnie Bell Morgan of Alvin and Dessie Lee Harrell of Temple. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
